I’ve been trying very hard to adapt to Hawaii time but last night or early morning around 3am I woke up thinking it was almost time to get up. We were scheduled to leave the house at 7am in order to get to a local beach with limited parking.
We got to the beach and it was gorgeous but the waves were too strong to go snorkeling. When I was a kid I used to swim the waves at camp but I’m 62 now and haven’t swim in years due to many factors. So Michael and I just waded in. I didn’t want to injure myself.
Last night the time changed in California so now there’s three hours difference. We got back from our wading had breakfast and then I tried to take a nap. Our dinner tonight is at Merriman’s but the earliest I could get was 8 pm So further body clock screwing up is anticipated.
We are having a very relaxing time. Tomorrow we are leaving early to visit the Kilauea volcano a hundred miles away which started erupting again.
I posted about our visit to a Kona Coffee farm and everyone including a former boss from forty years ago came out of the woodwork asking us to get them some. I have never dropped so much $ on coffee in one shopping trip (mostly gifts) In my life!
Not surprised that you were 4 hours ahead of schedule. Nothing new. Hahaha!
Hopefully you bought more than one bag of coffee for me. I can finally enjoy coffee after my surgery.
Want to celebrate when you get back home. I will pay you back. 😍
